SWOC Analysis of the department | •Strengths: Dedicated staff members. Students are survivors even though they belong to the disadvantaged section of the society. They are either working or get jobs after completion of the program. • Weakness: Only one staff member as per government norms limiting the activities that we would like to conduct. • Opportunities: Sociology is a subject which is of relevance to the society and students can be encouraged to become entrepreneurs and establish their own NGO. • Challenges: Since they are working and come from much marginalized section of the society it is a challenge to maintain their concentration in the classroom. |
Future Plans | To organize inter-collegiate students’ seminar. |
