SECAB’s ARS Inamdar Arts, Science & Commerce College & P. G. Centre for women is affiliated to Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women University, Vijayapur. It conducts undergraduate courses in Arts, Science & Commerce (B.A, B.Sc. & B.Com) in both Kannada and English medium. The college was started with only Arts stream in 1974 later in the year 1988 the science stream was introduce with three combinations .In 2013 a commerce section was added .In 2016 we launched the first ever post graduate centre in English . The college was accredited by NAAC with B + grade.

The college has been also adjudged as one of the best ten colleges in the Karnataka State. Recently in 2010 the college has been recognized as the “College with Potential for Excellence” by the UGC. The college is in grant-in-aid college of Govt. of Karnataka and also has been recognized by the UGC 2(f) 12(b). The college is situated in the beautiful, airy and spacious campus of Jalanagar, (HUDCO Cross). It has excellent road connectivity in this town. The campus is safe and provides exclusiveness and convenient for girls students. The college has all infrastructural facilities like well equipped modern science laboratories, computers, illuminated and ventilated classrooms, staff rooms, girls waiting room, office, library, hostel, play ground. They are free from pollution, noise and thus provide an ideal learning atmosphere.

The college offers 18 different subjects in Arts and Science streams at UG level. This provides a wide range of subject combinations that help the (girl) students to make a successful career.
